International Fashion Photographer is guest speaker at Owego Rotary Club

The Owego Rotary Club is excited to announce that international fashion photographer, Lindsay Adler, will be the guest speaker at their March 29 evening dinner at the Owego Treadway Inn. Adler has risen to the top of her industry as both a photographer and educator.

Based in New York City, her fashion editorials have appeared in numerous fashion and photography publications including Marie Claire, InStyle, Elle, Rangefinder, and dozens more. As a photographic educator, she is one of the most sought after speakers internationally, has been named one of the top 10 best fashion photographers in the world, and was named a Canon Explorer of Light.

A clean, bold, and graphic style has become the hallmark of Lindsay’s work, whether shooting advertising campaigns, designer look books, jewelry, hair campaigns, fashion editorials, or professional athletes. Adler is renowned for her creativity and collaboration with designers and stylists in order to create fresh looks. As author of four books, she is always working on new ways to share her passions and knowledge with others.

Adler is the daughter of Matt and Kathleen Adler, an Owego Free Academy graduate, and a graduate of the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. She is located in Manhattan shooting fashion full time.

Adler will be speaking about her career (which began in Owego), recent travel/adventures, and about social media for today’s young artists/entrepreneurs. She will also share some of her favorite work as well as some beautiful travel images.

The public is invited to the Owego Treadway Inn on March 29 for this program. Cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m., dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $15.00.  To RSVP or for more information, contact Meredith Bocek at (607) 687-3410.
