The Newark Valley Celebrations Committee and the Newark Valley Historical Society are teaming up once again to present the ninth annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt will take place at the Newark Valley Village Green on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m.
Countless eggs will be filled with candy and goodies for children to find. Donuts and drinks will also be available. The event will be held rain or shine.
This year is the Newark Valley Historical Society’s 40th year and they have special surprises planned for each of the four seasonal festivals. The Historical Society sponsors the Easter Egg Hunt, Newark Valley Days, the Apple Festival and Holiday Magic.
In addition, there are free concerts and events at the Depot throughout the summer, Folk Art workshops at the farmstead, and many more fun and interesting activities.
