A New Hope Center to hold grand opening of supervised visitation space

A New Hope Center (ANHC) is pleased to announce the grand opening of its supervised visitation space. The space is next door to their offices on 20 Church St. in Owego. They will hold an open house for the public to view the space on Friday, April 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. They will have an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:45 p.m.

A New Hope Center received funding to open the supervised visitation space in 2014. The initial grant was through the New York State Office for Children and Family Services (OCFS). This program provides a safe space for children to visit with their non-custodial parent, especially while things are being resolved in Family Court.

ANHC began operating the program out of their offices in May of 2015. Now that the space is finished, non-custodial parents will have a safe, child-friendly space to visit.

Additional funding for the space was received from the Floyd Hooker Foundation, the Mildred Truman Faulkner Foundation and the Maloy Foundation, as well as from several individuals.

Join them for this grand opening. Light refreshments will be available.
