TCCASA celebrates National Kick Butts Day

The Tioga County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Inc. (TCCASA) is inviting local residents to join them in celebrating National Kick Butts Day. On Wednesday, March 16 from noon to 1 p.m., TCCASA will be offering a free information session on how aromatherapy can help with quitting.

Tioga County residents are invited to attend an information session on strategies to help you when you decide to quit smoking. There are many ways to quit smoking. Some people stop “cold turkey.” Others benefit from step-by-step manuals, counseling, or products that help reduce nicotine addiction.

Aromatherapy has been shown to help decrease nicotine cravings. And according to the people who have used the products, it works. Sensibly using essential oils may play an especially helpful role in your effort to quit smoking.

Seating is limited. Call to reserve your seat by Monday, March 14.

For further information, contact TCCASA directly at (607) 687-6349 or by email to info@tccasa.org.
