The Binghamton Zoo will be open for the next two weekends on March 12, 13, 19 and 20. The zoo will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last ticket at 3 p.m.).
Visitors will be able to tour the zoo for half price admission as follows: $3.50 for adults; $3 for senior citizens, students and military; $2.50 for children ages three to 11; and children under two and members are free.
Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27. This Easter themed event is fun for all ages and includes an Easter egg hunt, photos with an Easter bunny, crafts and more. Hours are noon to 3 p.m. (the zoo closes at 4 p.m.). Prices are $6 for members and $8 for non-members.
The Binghamton Zoo’s Grand Opening is set for April 23 and will then be open 7 days a week from 10 to 4 p.m. (zoo gates close at 5 p.m.). An event and promotional schedule can be found at rossparkzoo.com.
They are saying thank you to their members by offering a Members Only Night to kick off the Binghamton Zoo’s 141st season. On April 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., members will have the opportunity to see the zoo before the grand opening. A special behind the scenes keeper talk will give members the chance to meet their North American River Otters – Leroy and Elaine.
