TCHS to host ‘Quilts by the River’, an exhibition

Tioga County is home to many artistically talented quilters, and the upcoming “Quilts by the River” Quilt Show is an ideal place to see many of these quilts in person. This exhibition will be held from March 5 to April 30 at the Tioga County Historical Society located at 110 Front St. in Owego. The exhibit rooms will be filled with many excellent quality quilts that were made locally, including a display of antique quilts from their own collection. Visitors will enjoy a special silent auction for a chance to win a variety of specially made quilts.

The gift shop will be open during exhibit hours. They are currently holding a sale on hundreds of quilting books and scrap bags that are perfect for quilters of all skills and age.
