Community Showcase to take place at the SVE High School

On March 6, from 1 to 4 p.m., the 2016 Community Showcase will take place at the Spencer Van Etten (SVE) High School. The showcase will offer arts and crafts, trades, businesses, not for profits, and will feature health information, music, and much more.

The purpose of the showcase is to help businesses in the Spencer Van Etten community succeed. The event is especially aimed at home-based small business owners who need more venues to market their products locally. This is also an excellent opportunity to find out what quality products are locally produced, and encourages residents to buy local.

During the event, music will be provided by the SVE Jazz Band, among others. There will be refreshments available as well.

The cost to attend is free, and a space is free for those wishing to showcase their product or service. The space is 10 ft. by 10 ft., and an additional 10 ft. is available for $10. Tables are also available at a cost of $10 each.

For more information, or to register for a spot, call Kerm Bossard at (607) 589-6059, or email to kb45@cornell.edu.

The event is sponsored by the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, SVE Central School, and Inspire S-VE, Inc.
