Weekly Bingo at the Chenango River Theatre in Greene will not be held on Wednesday, March 2, but will resume March 9 through April 27.
The weekly games at the theatre (991 State Highway 12) feature cash prizes totaling $600, with a jackpot of $150 for the last game. Doors open at 5:15 p.m., and the games begin at 6 p.m. You must be 18 to attend.
Bingo is offered in the theatre’s off season to provide entertainment for area residents as well as a new source of revenue for the theatre so it can continue to provide the region with high quality professional productions. The theatre attracts people from a wide area, with over 70 percent of the audience coming from Broome County.
