Newark Valley School District is in the midst of their annual Floor Hockey Tournament but this year, there’s a twist. The tournament will culminate on March 1 at 7 p.m., where the winning team will play a team from Owego Free Academy in the Newark Valley High School Gym. After the students play, the faculty and staff from both schools will compete.
Refreshments will be available and admission to the event is a free will donation to benefit the Tioga United Way. A special thanks to Newark Valley high school senior and Tioga United Way Board Member, Anna D’Arcy, for organizing this special event.
All proceeds will help to provide funding to the 31 partner agencies of the Tioga United Way. #GiveWhereYouLive.
