Identity Theft presentation to take place in Nichols

Identity theft has become more common in recent years, and unfortunately, anyone can become a victim. The Department of Aging at Tioga Opportunities, Inc., in conjunction with the Division of Consumer Protection from the New York State Department of State, will be offering a seminar on identity theft and scams.

Join them on March 4, at 1 p.m. at the Community Care Network of Nichols located at 139 Roki Blvd. in Nichols.

Topics covered will include “How identity theft occurs,” “Why seniors are so vulnerable,” and “Types of scams,” among others.
