Mr. and Mrs. Richard Orth of Owego, N.Y. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cummings of Syracuse, N.Y. announce the engagement of their children, Carolyn Orth and Alex Cummings. The couple met at their alma mater, Clarkson University, in Potsdam, N.Y.
Carolyn graduated from Newark Valley High School and Clarkson University with a BS degree in Business Technology Management / Communications and Media and is currently employed with Harpoon Brewery in Boston, Mass. as Promotions Coordinator.
Alex graduated from West Genesee High School and from Clarkson University with a BS in Financial Information Analysis and an MS in Business Administration and is currently employed with Granite Telecommunications as a Finance Operations Project Manager.
A June wedding is planned.
