During the weekend of Feb. 13, the Apalachin United Methodist Church, located at 303 Pennsylvania Ave. in Apalachin, will host a sweatheart weekend treat.
On Saturday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m., a free Ice Cream Social will take place. Then on Sunday, Feb. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m., a spaghetti dinner will take place to benefit the Owego Free Academy Boys’ Varsity Swim Team.
The Sunday dinner will feature the boys as waiters, and tickets are available now for $8 per person and can be purchased from team members, or at the door.

There will be free coats, mittens, hats and scarves available to pick up at the church during the event, or during office hours of Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
