On Jan. 26, 2016 at 11:32 a.m., the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one car fatal motor vehicle accident on Halsey Valley Road in the Town of Tioga.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department, a southbound vehicle operated by 26-year-old Chad Sindoni, of Athens, Pa., left the west shoulder of the road and struck a tree. Chad Sindoni was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Tioga Center Fire Department, New York State Police, and Huckle’s Towing. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
