As the number of people affected by drug addiction grows, more and more families are left to grieve overdose deaths.
Lourdes Hospital will be offering a six-week support group for those who are grieving a substance-related death. The group is led by certified social workers and will help address the unique challenges and emotions associated with this type of grief.
The support group will begin on Monday, Jan. 18, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Lourdes at Home/Lourdes Hospice located at 4102 Old Vestal Rd. in Vestal and continue each Monday for six weeks.
