The Owego-Apalachin (OA) Music Booster Club supports the OA Music programs and students in a variety of ways. They award an annual college scholarship to a senior pursuing a career in a music field. Summer scholarships are awarded to students participating in music enrichment programs. Assistance is provided to OA to bring in guest artists for events such as Jazz Night and dance programs. Equipment purchases have been made for bands, choruses, the theater, and the color guard.
An annual gift supports the high school music trip. The Boosters have also supported sending groups to events such as the Cornell Men’s Glee Club camp and the ACDA honor choirs. The boosters funded the supplies for and organized the volunteer labor for the construction of the control booth in the OA Theater.
