On Dec. 9, 2015 at 8:30 p.m., Jeremmie A. Smith, age 34 of 320 Glendale Dr., Endicott, N.Y. was arrested for Menacing 2nd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. These charges resulted from Jeremmie A. Smith threatening another person with a gun in the presence of two children. Jeremmie A. Smith was arraigned before Justice Patrick Hogan of the Town of Owego Court and was released on his own recognizance. Jeremmie A. Smith was scheduled to reappear in the Town of Owego Court before Justice Hogan on Dec. 22, 2015.

On Dec. 19, 2015 at 5 p.m., Diana M. Schaffer, age 72 of 47 Elm St., Newark Valley, N.Y. was for Petit Larceny. This charge resulted from the investigation of a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Shurfine Grocery Store in the Village of Newark Valley. The defendant was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Newark Valley Court in front of Justice John Schaffer on Jan. 28, 2016.

On Dec. 20, 2015, Donald L. Morse, age 20 of 302 Cooper Hill Rd., Candor, N.Y. was arrested for Assault 3rd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. These charges resulted from the investigation of a domestic incident that took place on Dec. 18, 2015 at 302 Cooper Hill Rd. in the Town of Spencer. The defendant was arraigned before Justice Lawrence Bleck of the Town of Spencer Court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $100 bail or $200 bond. Donald L. Morse is scheduled to reappear before Justice Bleck on Jan. 13, 2016.

On Dec. 21, 2015, Ryan F. Bartram, age 20 of 66 Whittemore Hill Rd., Owego, N.Y. was arrested for Petit Larceny. This charge resulted from an investigation of a larceny complaint in the Town of Owego by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office. The defendant was arraigned before Justice Patrick Hogan of the Town of Owego Court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond. Ryan F. Bartram is scheduled to reappear before Justice Hogan on Jan. 5, 2016.

On Dec. 18, 2015 at 1:17 a.m., Timothy D. Schofield, age 32 of 1042 State Route 79, Richford, N.Y. was arrested for Attempted Arson 2nd, Reckless Endangerment 1st, Criminal Contempt 1st, Menacing 2nd and Criminal Contempt 2nd. These charges resulted from two domestic incidents that occurred at 1042 State Route 79 in the Town of Richford. The defendant was arraigned before Justice Anderson of the Town of Richford Court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond. Timothy D. Schofield was scheduled to appear in the Town of Richford Court in front of Justice Anderson on Dec. 21, 2015.
