The Vestal Community Chorus, celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2015, will hold its holiday concert, “Holiday Harmony 2015” on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Vestal United Methodist Church.
This will be a very special concert, as it will be the final one with Founder and Director Barbara Press. Press will be retiring following this performance. Press’ dedication to the Chorus’ two annual concerts have not gone unnoticed by Chorus members and community residents. She will be greatly missed. The Chorus is hoping for a larger-than-normal turnout for this holiday tradition to show Press their appreciation.
Some of the selections to be sung by the chorus include The Christmas Waltz; Canticle of Carols; Hanukkah Holiday; It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year; Santa’s A Comin’ and Sleigh Ride.
There is no admission charge but donations are always appreciated.
