The Newark Valley Historical Society invites the community to a Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the railroad Depot in Newark Valley. Carrying out the theme of a “Frosty and Heavenly Christmas”, oodles of angels and sleigh loads of snowmen are on display throughout the Depot along with more than 20 decorated trees. Scrumptious foods as well as decadent desserts along with hot and cold beverages will be available to please the most discerning appetite.
There will be a Chili Contest at 5 p.m., and if you wish to enter call the office at 642-9516 and leave your name and phone number. Live music will be provided by The Valley Harmony and Greg Neff.
Make some wonderful memories at the Depot and enjoy the sounds and sights of the Christmas Season.
