The Tioga County Tourism Office is pleased to congratulate the following photographers for achieving an “Excellence Award” in their category during the recent Tioga County Tourism Photography Contest.
The winner for History was the Red Barn, by Robert Strickland; Agriculture: Spring Lamb, by Bill Roberts; Event: Tioga County Fair, by April Taylor; Winter: Sledding, by April Taylor; Arts: En Plein Air, by Sarah Reid; Nature: Butterfly on Coneflower, by William Roberts; and Outdoor Activity: Pumpkin Patch, by Cindy Short.
“All participants submitted wonderful work, however these were the standouts in their category. We will be using the submitted work in different marketing materials, such as our upcoming Travel Guide,” said Rebecca Maffei, director of Tioga County Tourism, adding, “We are always looking for photographs of people having fun in Tioga County.”
