Tioga Opportunities, Inc.’s Department of Aging is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a $500 grant from Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation.
The Home Delivered Meals program through the Department of Aging will benefit from this gift. Many older adults in the county depend on this service for access to healthy meals that help to maintain or improve their nutritional health. Tioga Opportunities, Inc. has served as the Tioga County Office for the Aging for 40 years, and depends on the generous support of local foundations such as the Golub Foundation to meet the needs of the county’s seniors.
Tioga Opportunities, Inc. would like to thank Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation for the generous grant, which will aide in continuing vital services to older adults in Tioga County. Local support such as this grant assists in the provision of services that make an important difference in the lives of many people in the community.
