Dozer is a 4-year-old pit bull mix. He arrived as a stray on April 16, 2015 from Tioga Center. Dozer was surrendered to Stray Haven by his owner, who was unable to care for him. Dozer is very playful and has some energy. Dozer does chew, likes to jump (will need training) but isn’t mouthy and takes treats gently.
Dozer must go to a home that has no other animals. He is very friendly with people and loves children. He pulls slightly on the leash but does good once corrected. Dozer’s choice of toys are Kongs, rawhide and ropes. Dozer knows sit, come and lay down. He appears to be housetrained, but may need some reminders.
Visit Dozer at Stray Haven, 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
