Dear Editor,
After reading various points of opinion in the Letters to the Editor and the Reader’s Column, I would like to clarify a point of information regarding the multiple fire district issues.
Many times the Town of Owego is referenced in the comments. Please note that in regards to these fire issues, the reference should be to the specific fire district and not to the town of Owego government.
The Town of Owego government has no jurisdiction over these fire district entities. Thank you for allowing me to clarify these misunderstandings.
