The theme for the Aug. 27 Cork & Canvas Class at The LOOM is “Wine Glass Sunset”.
The next Cork & Canvas class at The LOOM in Waverly is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27. This class is a fun-filled and no experience necessary evening, which allows adults the chance to come together and socialize while they paint.
Each month, instructor Elizabeth Ellis will offer a different themed painting as she walks participants through the step-by-step process of creating their individual piece of art.
August’s theme is ‘Wine Glass Sunset’. The class will be held at The LOOM located at 439 Waverly St. in Waverly, N.Y. Beverages will be available for purchase with popcorn provided by the Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC).
The cost for each class is $35 per person and will cover all arts supplies required to complete the project. There are 20 studio spots per class and paid reservations are required to hold your spot.
Call the BCRAC office to reserve tickets at (570) 268-ARTS (2787). The class begins at 6 p.m., but participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for setup. Can’t make it in August, watch for the September class at The LOOM.
Cork and Canvas is a program of the BCRAC.
