On Thursday, July 23, the Tioga County Department of Social Services (DSS) announced that Tara Chilson had been named Employee of the Second Quarter 2015.
Tara has been with DSS since Aug. 31, 2007. She started as a Database Clerk and was promoted to Social Welfare Examiner in October 2011.
According to DSS, Tara is an outstanding member of the FSMA Team. She is referred to as a “powerhouse worker”.
DSS stated, “Tara demonstrates extensive program knowledge, and is often sought out by her co-workers for assistance. She takes great pride in her high accuracy and completion rates.”
Tara maintains a positive attitude toward her work and the department. Tara also participates in several committees within the Agency and the County.
Congratulations Tara for being named DSS’s Employee of the second quarter.
