Doug Rougeux, the Bubble Man, will entertain guests in Waverly on July 29.
Waverly Free Library to host “Performance in the Park Series” with featured performer The Bubble Man on Wednesday, July 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There are many new and exciting programs happening this summer at the Waverly Free Library. Along with the Pre-K story hour, science LiFT program and the “Every Hero Has a Story” K-6 summer program, the library is also sponsoring several fun summer performances in the park.
The next performance will be the Bubble Man (a.k.a. Doug Rougeux). Doug has been performing the BubbleMania show to rave reviews since the early 90’s.
There are more than just bubbles at this event. As a full time professional entertainer, Doug will engage audiences of all ages with his jokes, miming, magic, juggling and of course, bubbles as big as your head.
Doug got his clown degree from the Barnum and Bailey Clown College in Venice Fla. and was taught everything about bubbles by Casey Carle, inventor of the Bubble Mania show.
The Waverly Free Library is excited to host this event, which was made possible by the Senator Libous Book Program in partnership with Morrisville State College.
Audiences will be equally excited to see Doug perform and enjoy some free popcorn. Doug will prove that you can do just about anything with a bubble, as he has proven at his past shows, where he has made tightrope-walking bubbles, bubble space ships, kissing bubbles, and a bubble concerto.
Discover the magic of bubbles yourself, and make this event a “must do” on your list of summer fun. The performance will take place at the Waverly Mini Park on the corner of Broad Street and Waverly Street in the downtown Waverly, N.Y.
