The 20th Annual 10U Owego Little League (OLL) Tournament starts Monday, July 20, and runs until Sunday, July 26.

Twenty teams are signed up for the three bracket two-week competition using Hyde Park’s four diamonds. Weeknight game times are 6 p.m., and Saturday game times are 10 a.m.

Tournament Co-Director Eric Hawkins says the teams registered to play are

A Bracket: Ithaca, Maine Endwell-Gorton, Vestal-Kretzmer, Johnson City and Union Endicott-Emilio.

B Bracket: Maine Endwell-Congdon, Vestal-Donlin, Union Endicott-Orange, Windsor and Greene.

C Bracket: Maine Endwell-Blue, Candor, Maine Endwell-Gold, Vestal-Ramia, Nichols-Tioga, Chenango Valley, Roosevelt Train-Wyalusing, Owego, Vestal-Gold, Union Endicott-Black.

Teams will come from five neighboring counties. Four from New York State’s Southern Tier – Tioga, Broome, Windsor and Chenango Counties and one from Pennsylvania’s Northern Tier of Bradford County.

OLL President Ken Winters encourages members of the OLL family to come to Hyde Park any night or Saturday and ask tournament officials what they can do to help.

Sixteen teams competed for two weeks from Monday, July 6 to Sunday, July 19 in the Winner’s and Loser’s Bracket of the 20th annual 12U Owego Little League Tournament.

After extra innings in a very good game between Union-Endicott and Susquehanna Valley, UE came out victorious in the “C” Bracket Championship.  Third place went to Newark Valley on Saturday.

Tourney Co-Director Eric Hawkins thanks these teams from three counties – Tioga, Broome and Chemung – for playing.

Division B – eight teams – Owego, Vestal Green, Vestal-Howard, West Elmira, Mark Twain, Waverly, Union Endicott-Sloan and Nichols-Tioga.

Division C – eight teams – Newark Valley, Maine Endwell-Rathgeber, Apalachin, Susquehana Valley, Vestal-Cordi, Chenango Forks, Union Endicott-Ferranti and Binghamton East.
