The fourth annual “Rock in the Park”, to benefit the Chenango County SPCA, will take place July 11, beginning at noon in General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, N.Y. and will feature Rusted Root, and a variety of other bands.

In honor of their 25th Anniversary, Rusted Root has been on an extensive national tour to support their current release, The Movement.

Rusted Root founder and frontman, Michael Glabicki, stated, “The Movement is an extremely joyous recording with seriously deep undertones. It is a culmination of everything we have learned it is truly is a career record for us.”

This event started in the summer of 2012, and has continued to grow over the past few years, and this year will be the largest, to date.

This year the small town of Bainbridge and “Rock in the Park” will welcome Rusted Root along with three local favorites -Woodshed Prophets, Wreckless Marci and The Falconers.

The benefit concert will take place at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, N.Y. on Route 7. The show will take place rain or shine, and those attending are reminded to bring blankets or chairs.
Tickets for adults are $15 and children 12 and under can attend for free. Tickets can be purchased through ticketmaster.com, Tioga Downs, Chenango SPCA in Norwich, Barles Pharmacy in Oxford or Snips and Snails Children’s Consignment in Bainbridge, N.Y.

The park opens at 11 a.m. and the shows start at noon. There will be over 25 vendors with various items, the zoomobile, face painters and great food. There will also be a silent auction, featuring items including sports autographs, jewelry and Chinese auction items.
