The 12th Annual Waverly Car and Truck Show is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at East Waverly Park in Waverly, N.Y., with a rain date of Wednesday, July 15.

Each year classic, antique, street rods and muscle cars and trucks converge from all over the Southern Tier of New York and northern Bradford County Pennsylvania for the annual Waverly Car and Truck Show. The event is free to car show participants and the public. Throughout the evening, spectators can vote on their show favorite and then trophies are given out at the end of the event.

“Last year we had approximately 100 cars and trucks and this year we are hoping for even more,” said Katie Lilley, Waverly Car and Truck Show committee member. “This event gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy a nice summer evening, socialize with friends, and view some outstanding cars and trucks.”

The 12th Annual Waverly Car and Truck Show is sponsored by Tioga State Bank and co-sponsored by Elk Environmental Services, Tioga Downs, Williams Ford Lincoln, Renee and Kris Kinsley, Ron Perry and Sons, Waverly Business Association, Village of Waverly and the Waverly Police Benevolent Association.

They will have live entertainment throughout the evening from the band Spexxxx and Coaches Pizza will be the food vendor on site.

The Waverly Car and Truck Show committee members have been working hard throughout the year to make the show a success. Those members include Katie Lilley, Lynett Myers, Jennifer Blackman and Jody Bensley.

There is no pre-registration for the cars and trucks that are participating in the show. People who are displaying a vehicle in the show should plan to arrive between 4 and 5:30 p.m. at East Waverly Park. No model or toy vehicles please.
