TCRM thanks supporters for recent Soap for Hope campaign

Tioga County Rural Ministry (TCRM) wishes to thank all of their supporters who hosted a ‘Soap for Hope’ bin in their church, place of business, school or organization, and all who contributed to the bins.

With the help of so many, they were able to distribute soap, shampoo, toilet paper, dish and laundry detergent, among other products, to the guests who come to their food pantry.

The following contributed to their record collection of 4,719 products, up from 3,216 last year: the American Legion; Barleycorn; Bridge of Hope Ministries; Candor Key Club; Community Bank, NA in Owego and Nichols; Community Shop; Department of Social Services; Dollar General; Flemingville United Methodist Church; First Baptist Church; First Presbyterian Union Church; Home Central; John’s Fine Foods; New Beginnings Beauty Salon; Nick’s Garage; Owego Elementary; OFA Key Club; Owego Lions Club; Peak Performance; Price Chopper; Scott Smith & Son; St. Margaret Mary Church; St. Patrick Church; St. Paul’s Episcopal Church; Royal Automotive; the Sword and Spirit Christian Fellowship; Thompson’s Grocery; Thrivent Financial; the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club; the Tioga County Courier; Tioga County Sheriff’s Department; Tioga Opportunities; Tioga Opportunities’ Housing Services; Owego United Methodist Church; Zion Lutheran Church and school; and the VFW.
