June is adopt a cat month, and to celebrate, all month long Stray Haven is offering a discount promotion on its homeless residents. Until June 30, adopt a shelter cat over six months of age for only $40.
This donation fee includes initial vaccinations, spay or neuter, a feline leukemia test and deworming. These same health services average a cost of $200 to $300 at a veterinary office.
There are approximately 60 adult cats and 70 kittens awaiting their new family at the shelter now.
Stop by Stray Haven at 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly, N.Y. during shelter hours of Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
