An opportunity to make money at this year’s Tioga County New York Fair

The County Fair and Carnival world has its own set of definitions. Some are narrow, like “First of May” (a new employee); some are wide, like “Vendor”. A vendor can be anyone from a candy butcher in the Grandstand to the local spa sales folks with a large display. Whatever the size of your business, there is room for you at this year’s Fair.

“The Fair continues in a rebuilding mode,” said Tioga County New York’s Fair Board President John Schumacher. “We made a good start last year and hope to continue this year. We always have room for vendors of all kinds.”

Vendor spaces, both in and outside, are still available. Be a part of the county Fair revival and show your support for your friends and neighbors who are volunteering with this family friendly, locally focused event. Call Sandy at (607) 229-2848 or Eileen at (607) 972-1454 for more information.

New this year will be Saturday’s Tioga County Fair Flea Market. At $25.00 for a 10 foot by 10 foot space along the East side of the Cattle Barn, your crafts and wares will be seen by many Fairgoers as the Elm Street entrance is where most visitors now enter the Fairgrounds.

While the Fair Board hopes for a festive old time Bazaar feel to the Flea Market Lane on Saturday, there will be limits. Flea Market participants will also receive up to two Exhibitor passes for free entry into the Fair on Saturday, July 11 only.

The Tioga County Fair begins on Tuesday, July 7 and runs through Saturday, July 11. There will be a whole host of events. Be sure to visit www.tiogacofair.com for the latest information and updates.

Make sure your business is a part of this year’s Fair. Produce a display large or small, manned or stand-alone, inside or out, the choice is yours. And for crafters and home based businesses wanting a more finite opportunity, there will be Saturday’s Flea Market. Something for everyone at the Tioga County Fair!
