Shangri-La 2 Speedway management is proud to announce the addition of a new marketing partner for the 2015 season. Six area stores have joined forces and signed on as the title sponsor for the track’s premier racing division, which will now be known as the NAPA Auto Parts Sport Modifieds.
NAPA Auto parts stores in Owego, N.Y., and Canton, Dushore, Troy, Wyalusing, and Wysox, Pa. partnered to finalize the deal early last week. NAPA Auto Parts joins Coach’s Pizza of Waverly, N.Y. as a title sponsor of a racing division at the half-mile concrete oval for the 2015 season.
The Coach’s Pizza Street Stocks have already seen the benefits of that sponsorship deal this season. Details of the NAPA Auto Parts sponsorship will be released soon.
A title sponsor for the track’s Four Cylinder Stock class is in the works and an announcement will be made as soon as the deal is signed.
The Big 10 Street Stock Series will go head to head with Shangri-La 2’s own Street Stocks on June 20 and again on Aug. 15, and the INEX Legends have been signed on for June 13, July 11, July 25, and Aug. 15.
