Dear Editor,
My name is Shelby Key, I am a 23-year old female graduate student of Oneonta Job Corps Academy. Ten months ago I started Job Corps because I was working a minimum wage job and barely making enough money to pay for the gas to and from work let alone anything else that I needed. I was struggling and getting discouraged quickly.
Job Corps has helped me so much since then, I completed my trade as a Medical Administrative Assistant and worked my way up to the position of Vice President of the Student Government. I had experiences that will last me a lifetime.
I am attending the Advanced Trade at the Grafton Job Corps in Massachusetts for Human Services. For me, Job Corps has been an amazing experience and I would not ever hesitate to recommend the program to others who are considering enrollment.
