TCHS announces extended hours for spring/summerThe Tioga County Historical Society (TCHS) is pleased to announce extended hours for the spring and summer. Starting Thursday, May 7, the museum will be open to the public Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Entry is, as always, free.

Exhibits will include the Civil War exhibit, “The Cost of Freedom”, the African American History exhibit, “We Shall Overcome”, and the new box exhibit, “Thinking Inside the Box”.

In addition to enjoying the exhibits, a variety of children’s activities and crafts will be offered. Families can participate in the following: a scavenger hunt, family history activities, building with architectural blocks, and coloring.
