Cathy Brown McDowell, age 59 and her husband, Burford McDowell.
Cathy Brown McDowell, age 59 of Bradenton Fla., and originally from Owego, N.Y. passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015 with her loving husband at her side.
Born on February 25,1956 she was the daughter of the late Everett Brown and Betty (Hawkins) Brown of Apalachin, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Burford McDowell of Bradenton, Fla., a daughter, Naomi (Eric) Pizzardi Suojanen and granddaughter Ava Suojanen of North Port, Fla., a son, Nathan Pizzardi and fiancé Tracy Logan of Bowmansville, Pa. and a daughter, Christina Pizzardi and stepson Buford McDowell Jr.
She is also survived by her sister, Susan Brown Chamberlain of Owego and two brothers, Robert (Gail) Brown of Columbia, Tenn. and George (Barb) Brown of Apalachin, N.Y. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
She was active in her church, Colonial Baptist in Bradenton Fla., which is where her Memorial service will be held at a later date.
She attended the Owego Free Academy.
