The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a lunchtime edition of Bite-Sized Pursuits on Tuesday, May 19 at the Owego Treadway Inn. The topic will be Tackling Crucial Conversations with Confidence and the session will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Do you put off or avoid having those difficult conversations with others? Does your job require you to respond to tough issues but you don’t know how to begin? This session will help you to handle crucial conversations more effectively and with less fear. You’ll learn how to spot the signs that a conversation is going the wrong way and how to quickly and safely get it back on track.
The speaker, Ruth Henneman, owner of Ruth Henneman Coaching and Consulting, LLC is a certified coach and consultant. She works with businesses and individuals to help them reach the success they desire through leadership coaching, life coaching, and enhancing their communication and interpersonal skills.
The cost is $10 for Tioga Chamber Members and $13 Non-Chamber Members if reservations are made by May 15. The cost will be $15 at the door.
