On May 2, the Newark Valley Historical Society (NVHS) will hold its annual benefit auction at the fire station on Route 38 in Newark Valley. Doors open at 5 p.m. for a preview of the items available and the auction will begin at 6 p.m.
Expect to see local golf course passes, restaurant certificates, antiques and much more. There will be a silent auction too, so come early to get your bid in.
This year the auctioneer will be Evan Goodrich, recent winner of the #1 NYS Bid Caller. The proceeds from the auction help support the Historical Society’s educational programs as well as the programming at the Depot and the general upkeep of the Bement–Billings Farmstead and the Depot.
