Art classes and more at the Black Cat Gallery

The Black Cat Gallery celebrates their fifth year in business in 2015 with art classes,

“Capture Your Cat” (in a drawing) will take place on Saturday, May 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. Bring in a photo, larger that 4 x 6, of your cat and learn how to draw in a black and white sketch on toned paper; beginners are welcome.

The instructor, Carrie Tornatore, has been a professional artist involved in the community and fine arts since the 1970’s.

Call 687-5550 or stop by to reserve your space.

The May 1 Art Walk features the fabulous music of the “Triton Trio. The “Triton Trio” is the combination of the husband-wife duet “Tom and Marie” (guitar and bass) and banjo wizard R. J. Siegers.  Join the Black Cat Gallery from 5 to 9 p.m.

Inquiries about joining the Black Cat Gallery can be made through the website, blackcatgalleryowego.com, and “Like” them on Facebook. You can also drop by the Black Cat at 190 Front St. in Owego. They are open every day.
