Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center held its Annual Dinner at Tioga Opportunities on April 10. Each year the Center holds this social event and membership meeting, opening with a potluck dinner.
The Annual Dinner is an opportunity for the membership to gather and discuss business as well as honor the selected Gymnasts of the Year. The Gymnasts of the Year are selected based on improvement, positive attitudes, consistent attendance and ability to listen and follow directions.
This year’s Gymnasts of the Year are Christopher Culver (Lions), Reed Cook (Tornadoes), Kimberly Walter (Diamonds), Marion Pierce (Diamonds) and Ben Siemer (Advanced Tumbling). The competitive team, non-competitive team and S.T.A.R.S gymnasts were also recognized.
The Center, a not-for-profit organization, offers competitive and recreational gymnastics programs, fun days, fitness programs for young adults and adults, tae kwon do, and more. With summer around the corner, the Center is also taking signups for the Summer Fun Weeks and Summer Munchkin weeks.
