Bobby Franz deals Black Jack at last fall’s OFD/VFW Monte Carlo Night.
Members of the Owego Fire Department (OFD) and the Owego VFW Post 1371 Men’s Auxiliary have teamed up to host a spring Monte Carlo Night on Saturday, April 25 from 7 to 11 p.m. The event will take place at the Owego VFW Post 1371 Hall, 207 Main St., Owego. A donation is requested at the door, and $6 is recommended.
Proceeds from the Monte Carlo will benefit the Owego Fire Department Training Tower Fund and the Owego VFW Post 1371 Men’s Auxiliary operating fund. Both organizations will split the proceeds.
The Owego Fire Department recently completed Phase I of its training facility, which benefitted from funding raised at this event. The VFW Men’s Auxiliary and OFD have partnered on Monte Carlo Night in the spring and fall since 2007.
Games will include Black Jack, Beat the Dealer, Money Wheel, Chuck-of-Luck, 50/50, Joker 7, and Easter Ham Raffle. Food, drinks and entertainment will also be provided. You must be 21 or older to attend.
