Bread of Life Food Pantry is looking for your help

The Bread of Life Food Pantry is asking people to help purchase Hams for Easter to be given out to their clients. Their pantry is located in Candor, N.Y., a small community.

The pantry serves 100 to 130 families each week and the numbers increase during holidays. They will need at least 150 (hams) to distribute to ensure everyone will be able to enjoy a ham for their Easter Dinner.

To help them out, you can donate online at www.gofundme.com/pf68tk. This site has been set up with a goal of raising the $2,000 needed for the hams.

Many of their clients are seniors that they deliver boxes of food to weekly, and others are families with young children. Although the parents work, it is still difficult to make ends meet. The pantry does its best to help ease the burden.

In addition to the food distribution, they have Toys for Tots, a clothing giveaway twice a year, an Easter egg hunt, donated children’s books for the children to take home, and various toiletry items for the family.
