Families have to make hard choices sometimes, such as deciding to buy food, pay utilities or buy diapers. A change of diapers is an important health need for a baby.
To help ease things a bit, Catholic Charities received a grant of $500 from the Diocese of Rochester Consistent Life Ethic Grant Fund to provide an emergency supply of diapers to any Tioga County resident.
A package of ten diapers will be available to families every 30 days, as supplies last. Catholic Charities Tioga Outreach Center located at 139 Roki Blvd. in Nichols, N.Y. is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 3 p.m.
