W&W Nursery & Landscaping, Inc. has hired Matthew Smith to lead their Landscaping Design Team. Smith is a Conklin native, a graduate of Susquehanna Valley and he holds a Landscape Architecture degree from Cornell University. He also holds an Architecture and Design certificate from the University of Copenhagen.
Smith will be handling all design, sales, and overseeing of crews for W&W’s landscaping services.
Having spent 25 years in the field of landscaping, architecture, design and construction, Smith has returned to New York from Nashville, Tennessee, where he was involved with the development of the Tennessee Titan’s Football Stadium and multiple reclamation and environmentally oriented projects.
W&W Nursery and Garden Center, located on Marshland Road in Apalachin, N.Y., is the area’s largest independent nursery and garden center in the Southern Tier, providing professional services since 1988.
