Ginger is a 2-year-old brindle, with white Shepherd mix that arrived on Sept. 25, 2014 as a stray. She is very, very intelligent, and due to this, is not tolerating the stress associated with long term kenneling.
As one of their longest residents, Ginger has been at the shelter for four and a half months now. Once given time outside to settle, Ginger lets her true colors shine.
She will need a patient owner who understands a smart, working breed, and understands that she will need time to settle, given her extended stay.
She has had no issues with other animals while at Stray Haven. There is no adoption fee for Ginger, only a $90 spay fee applies.
Visit Ginger at Stray Haven, 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
