It may not spring yet, but now is a great time to spend a cold day inside going through your closets and drawers. Get rid of some of your unwanted clothing items and help the community by donating your gently used items to the Tioga County Open Door Mission.
This has been an extremely harsh winter and the Tioga County Open Door Mission is still in need of winter coats, clothing and footwear.
The Tioga County Open Door Mission is located at 425 North Ave. in Owego, N.Y., and they are always accepting donations.
The Open Door Mission is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an area for after hour donations.
Remember when you donate with the Open Door Mission you are helping to support their homeless shelter, food pantries and outreach programs.
