The Greater Binghamton Reptile Expo, hosted by a touring group of reptile enthusiasts named HerpNerds, will be held at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, N.Y. on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

At the Sunday, March 22 show, Jimmy Riffle of the hit Animal Planet Network television show “Gator Boys” will present a fundraiser check to Traci’s Hope, and in turn, a lucky fundraiser participant will win a 2015 Chevy Malibu sponsored by Gault Auto Group.

Traci Gibson was diagnosed with Stage 3b breast cancer at the age of 31 and lived with the disease for seven years.  Traci’s Hope was her inspiration, a fund set up to help breast cancer patients lessen the burden of overwhelming expenses. Traci passed away on Oct. 3, 2006, and today family and friends carry on her mission.

Traci’s Hope was designed to pay for expenses outside of medical bills, such as gas money to get to appointments, childcare, mortgage or utility bills, or house cleaning, to name just a few.

Also on Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m., the annual “Pink Panther 5K” held at Northeast Bradford High School in Rome, Pa. is one of the first taste-of-spring fundraiser events for Traci’s Hope.  Registration information can be found on nebpanthers.com or on Facebook, Pink Panther 5K.
