I am writing in response to the false rumors mentioned in last week’s Pennysaver about the Mayor’s position on the Owego Fire Department.
The Mayor supports, has supported, and will continue to support the Owego Fire Department, the Emergency Medical Services Squad and the Owego Police Department.
These emergency responders are all needed in the village to maintain the health and safety of Village of Owego residents.
