Blue Dolphin dinner to benefit Apalachin Library

Each year, more people take advantage of the Apalachin Library’s great media, services, and programs. The upcoming Manicotti Parm benefit dinner helps the library continue to serve the growing demand in the community.

The dinner will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Blue Dolphin Restaurant, Route 434, Apalachin.

Adult tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Apalachin Library, 719 Main St. in Apalachin. Children are welcome, and they select from the Blue Dolphin’s Kid’s Menu and prices. Takeout is available, also.

Entertainment will be provided by banjo player Rob Siegers and by keyboardist Keith Nichols.

Libraries enhance our community, providing vital computer access to those who don’t otherwise have it, reading and literacy programs, and a local community gathering place to share information and get more informed. The year-to-year increase in library usage testifies to the Apalachin Library’s vital role in the community.  Supporting this event is one way to show support for maintaining and growing a vibrant library.

They invite the community to come enjoy a wonderful dinner and contribute to helping the library grow.
