Writing Romance – a February presentation by the Southern Tier Authors of Romance (STAR), will be held on Feb. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the George F. Johnson Public Library in Endicott, N.Y.
Five local, published authors from STAR will present brief talks on writing romance, followed by a question/answer period and a chance to meet the authors and members from STAR.
Carol Henry will kick the session off with Writing Mechanics: Beyond Basics, followed by Emma Barron on Pathways to Publication. E.E. Ottoman will discuss Diversity in Romance, Jennifer Bokal on Romancing History, and current President, Joan Koster will close with Why Join a Romance Writers of America Chapter like STAR.
