Tioga Ridge Runners and Candor Valley Riders to host Snowmobile Safety Course

On Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Tioga Ridge Runners and Candor Valley Riders will host a New York State Snowmobile Safety Course at the Candor Ambulance Garage located at 58 Main St. in Candor. Lunch will be provided.

The course is open to Snowmobilers aged ten (copy of birth certificate required for proof of age) through 18. Participants do not need to be a club member. New snowmobilers of all ages are also welcome.

The class is limited to the first 50 students, and pre-registration is required.

The deadline for registration is Jan. 19 by contacting Odane Huttel, from the Tioga Ridge Runners Snowmobie Club by calling (607) 743-1673; or Diane Carr, Candor Valley Riders Snowmobile Club by calling (607) 659-5460.
